Is Allah the God of the Bible?.


In any of the one hundred and fifty sects and sub-sects of Islam, the common denominator is Allah. Who is this Allah? Much has been written on the religion of Islam and its prophet; but not much is said about the God of the religion. One reason is the assumption that the God of Islam and the God of Christianity are one and the same.

When, on September 11, 2001, some Muslims carried out a well-organized attack, destroying the The World Trade Center and damaging the Pentagon, a letter of last instruction from the leaders of the terrorist network was discovered.

Written in Arabic, it says their mission was a service to God. Actually this was a mistranslation. The word the terrorists used is not the Arabic word for God but Allah. The Arabic word for God is Ilah. So they believed they were working for Allah, not God.

Who is this Allah? Were these terrorists extremists, or were they serving the Allah of the Qur an?

The war against terrorism goes beyond overthrowing the Taliban regime in Afghanistan or even killing Osama bin Laden. The war on terror may not be won unless we understand the Allah the terrorists say inspires them.

Not all Muslims are terrorists. But the terrorists letter, which is quoted fully in chapter three, gives great insight into the Islamic religion and the motivation for religious terrorism in the world.

Why have we shied away from probing the identity of the Allah of Islam? Possibly it is because if Allah is not the God of the Bible, it would force us to face many ugly facts.

For example, if Allah is the true God, and the Qur an, Islam s sacred book, is true, then Christians can be sure they are lost, no matter how zealous they may be. The reverse would also be true. It is necessary, therefore, to provide sufficient information to enable you to determine your own verdict, and answer the question: Who is this Allah? This book will do that.

Exactly as described. It works awesome, but I will say the latch is a little hard to open, but I suppose that will keep toddler from opening it. And it was so easy to put up I did it myself in less then 15 min. and I always leave things like this for my husband.

I received the gate yesterday and installed it across the entrance to the kitchen to keep our cat off the kitchen counters behind the taller bar. It was surprisingly simple to install the gate with one extension. No tools were required since I was not screwing anything to the walls.

I didn't have to fight with it. I snugged up each side up a bit at a time after squaring the gate to the wall. As I tightened the adjusters I saw the gate come into alignment, close up the gap and then it latched. The gate opening is a little narrow but we're adapting.

Bought to keep 80 lb pitbull where he belongs lol and works awesome, installed at top off first stairwell, on the second step, closes perfectly no chance on it swinging back open because it's against stair, it was an absolute no brainer to put up, I'm good at assembling things but anyone could do this it took me less than 5 minutes putting it up. Worth every penny, my small dog can barely stick he snout through it only so it's very very safe for pets

I bought this for my mother, who has been here from england since she was in her thirties. She loves it. Period.
Came well packed she said. Came quickly and we can enjoy tea together on the phone in NY and in Fla. I signed on and bought the last one they had for myself. Great cups. A full two cups of a normal size, so you don't have to go back and pour the second cup, which is usually too strong if you kept the water and too weak if you watered it down. Love these, good company to get them locally without getting them from England. I ordered some from England and its taken already 6 weeks for those, and still don't have them.

I've had these for about a year now and use them constantly. The biggest one is constantly used for cookie batter, cake batter, anything really. The medium one is always out for scrambled eggs or pancakes and the small one is always on hand for smaller jobs (which happen all the time!). They rinse/wash very well by hand or in the dishwasher. I love the bottom grip, stainless interior and classic white exterior. Great set at a great price - long lasting, durable, pleasure to use. Thanks, OXO!

The price almost held me back, but the color convinced me. A year later, I'm still impressed.

They are heavy in weight and very durable. The non-slide grip at the bottom really does come in handy. These bowls stay exactly where you place them. The white is bright and darling and the bowls nestle inside of one another perfectly.

The 4 star rating is due to the fact that there are times I wish the set came with one bigger bowl. The 3 sizes are a great start, but for bigger items, I wish there was one size up.

The bowls do last. The steel inside is rust free and the there isn't a single chip in the the white exterior. They feel high-end. These bowls can take a beating.

If you're a heavy mixer, these are for you! If not, you may not need to spend $44 on this set. I don't regret the purchase at this price point because I do use them often and they've held up well. They are extremely well made and built to last!

I've gone through a lot of bowls and kitchen items over the years. These are by far the best mixing bowls I've ever owned. Not only are they durable, but they don't skid on the counter top. These bowls have prevented many kitchen disasters at my house :)
